Nadav has been whiney and crabby all day, but I'll choose to remember the 2 minutes of playing nicely.

The Ingathering of the Planks
The annual ritual of each grade collecting wood for their Lag B'omer bonfire has begun. Here is Jordy and some of his friends dragging half a tree that we had cut down from our yard just over 2 years ago.

9th day of Pesach
Leftover Pesach pizza from Luciana's on Emek Refaim. Still good on the 9th day of Chag. (Hopefully we'll update the blog soon)

Pesach
I realize I am WAY behind so here is the Pesach round up. After a crazy week of cleaning, cooking and shopping we had a fun seder at the Gersons. We got home around 2am if memory serves correctly. Shabbat morning Nadav and I woke up before Danya and Jordy(and I only got up because Nadav made me). Jordy stumbled out of bed a few minutes before Josh got home from Shul and we had to wake Danya to go to a kiddush followed by lunch at the Gellers. We had a great afternoon and stayed until late in the afternoon.
On Sunday we went with the Geller family to the Air Force Museum in Beer Sheva. It was a bit on the hot side but everyone had a great time and enjoyed their ice cream at the end.
Here is they guy who sells ice cream lifting Nadav above the freezer so he can see what was available.
On Monday we took the kids to the Ramat Gan Safari. This was Nadav's first trip to a zoo or "Gan Chayot" and it did not disappoint. His favorite was the monkeys. Everyone enjoyed their ice cream on their way out of the zoo(do you notice a theme?).
On Tuesday we met cousins Knapel and Aronson at park Hertzilyah for a picnic and day at the park. All the older kids and some of the adults all played football, baseball, soccer and Frisbee while the rest of the adults supervised the younger kids in the playground. It was a nice relaxing day and everyone had a great time. After that we stopped for a game of bowling since Jordy had been really wanting to go bowling. He was not happy when Danya won the game.
Wednesday we headed into Jerusalem where we were planning on a short visit to the Israel Land Museam. They had a special tour around the museum for kids complete with the story of Pesach. We then hurried out to get to the old city where we were scheduled to do a scavenger hunt. Unfortunately there was crazy traffic and a lot of streets were closed and we realized we weren't going to make it in time. We ended up going on a little walk around the tayelet in Talpiot where the kids ended up having fun climbing trees, playing in a park and running around. We then headed to Emek Refaim for spaghetti and pizza(yes, on Pesach) at Lucianno's. We then headed to Modiin for some ice cream before heading home.
Thursday was hang around the house/neighborhood day. I think Danya was with Tamar and Jordy was at a friends and we just had Nadav home while I was getting ready for chag. Thursday night we had a great time with the Jaffe family over for dinner. Friday lunch the Balsam's came over and we finshed off the leftovers. Friday night we had a feast at the Brodsky's house(can you believe we were still hungry?). Finally Shabbat lunch we ate at the Willen's house(even though technically it wasn't Pesach here I still included it as we were still eating Matzah). Eventually we made Havdallah and as always I was amazed that it took 1 hour to undo all that hard work.
