Bye, Bye Snap and Go

Yinon is now to big for his infant car seat. I can point out that he is almost a year and a half and all my other kids made the switch at about a year. Either way it is sad to be out of the portable car seat.

Brr

Danya was overjoyed to have a snow day today. We haven't really had much snow. Mostly rain, sleet and hail.

A Visit With Some Cousins

Danya and Jordy spent some time last night with their Kellman cousins and Saba and Savta and Lanie sent me this picture. Maybe someone will take pictures with their Saltzman cousins and Bubs and Pops and share them as well?

Full Menorah

Jordy, Nadav used your Chanukyah tonight:

What We Are Doing

I offered to take Nadav to several places including mini Israel and Latrun and he asked if he can stay in his pajamas and watch Star Wars. I'm not going to argue with that.

Trouble, Thy Name is Yinon

Chicago, day 1

Well, besides Danya's lost suitcase (which was delivered tonight), the trip has been going well TG. Hit Dunkin Donuts, Tein Li Chow and a whole bunch of stores. Most importantly, Jordy and I went to the Blackhawks game tonight. They lost 4-3, but it was great. To round it off, I had a late snack of a few Annette Saltzman homemade favorites. Latkes, corned beef and chicken soup with knaidlach ...mmmm...
Here are some pictures from the last 48 hours (I don't know wha the order of the pictures will be when I publish, so I'll describe them as I added. Hopefully each description will be obvious)
1. Jordy in the car after the Hawks game
2. At the Hawks gamw
3. Tein Li Chow northside eggrolls and dragon balls (yes, dragon balls...check their menu)
4. Danya and Jordy in Ben Gurion
5. Me finding the only short sleeve shirt in Target

Now I Know My ABC's?

Nadav has been learning how to write letters in Hebrew. Today after school he asked for a paper so he can write the English letters. Then he held up the paper and sang the ABC's as he knows them. Not bad considering we have never taught them to him. We better get working on that.

Cleaning The Bowl

Nadav's favorite job.
