More of The Same

Thursday was yet another snowy, busy day. Yinon and I were up every couple hours in the night and then up for the day again before 6. We got our coffee fix and stopped at Hungarian as I was in charge of wine for Shabbat. Then we met Lisa, Meytal and Lanie at another Target where we shopped for clothes. Lanie had to leave before we were done but Lisa and I stayed and headed to Payless and another Jewell after that. We then went to Lanie's for lunch and to hang out. At this point I decided I was out of energy and money and just wanted to hang out with the babies. We hung out most the afternoon and helped with the babies and Shabbat prep. Savta came over at 6:45 to babysit Yinon and I met Yael, Gila, Sarah and Leora at Shallots for a girls night out. It was so great seeing everyone and catching up(and of course having a steak and martini). When I got back Ari had returned and we cracked open the first bottle of wine. Lanie didn't partake as she doesn't drink.

Let The Shopping Begin

Wednesday was a super busy and snowy day! Yinon and I were up for the day at 5:30am. We left the house around 9. First stop the Dunkin Donuts drive through for coffee. We then mailed something at the post office then headed to Jewell. So amazed by the amount of things available and the fact that the Pesach section is up and running at the store. Then we went to Old Navy and returned to Lanie's. She had to pick up Maayan from school since she has a tummy ache. The miraculously recovering Maayan, Lanie and babies met us at Target where we did some more shopping. We returned to Lanie's and hung out for a few hours  until I was able to go to Rebeeca's for a bit. When I got back we had some yummy pizza and I headed out to Matthew and Marissa's to see my adorable nephews(and of course Matt, Marissa and Janice)!   We stayed longer then I thought I would be awake for and then headed home to Lanie's where I basically collapsed from exhaustion at close to midnight.

Baby Don't You Wanna Go

Yinon and I, along with Lisa and Meytal, came to Chicago for a week. The babies were champions on the plane and made the trip very easy. We arrived just in time for a snow storm.  Blah. We spent the day hanging out at Lanie's playing with the kids.  We did venture out a couple times. Living in Israel I so don't miss cleaning snow off a car. Savta came over with dinner. After that the jet lag sunk in. Yinon and I headed to bed and here we are wide awake at 3am.

Purim Samaech!

Danya is a bag of Jelly Belly(all her idea and she and Bubs made the costume), Jordy was a police man, Nadav dressed up as a character from Ninjago but I don't have a picture- this one is him dressed as a chess piece in the parade which he didn't enjoy. Yinon was a baseball player until he spit up on his costume.

Something is Funny

Tonight we realized if you tap on something it would make Yinon laugh and laugh. Danya caught it on video:

Dead Sea

Josh, Yinon and I got to go to the Dead Sea for 2 nights thanks to Bubs and Pops. We relaxed when Yinon allowed us to and just enjoyed the beauty of the sea and ate ourselves silly. We stopped at the Masada museum on our way home which was really worth while. I was highly amused by the fact that there is a food court there and of course a McDonald's. A McDonald's at Masada. Think Harrod would eat there?
